This 2002 Snorlax #49 is a staple of the Wizards of the Coast Black Star Promo series, originally distributed as a reward to players participating in the Pokémon League. Graded PSA 8 (NM-MT), this copy sits in a population of 824 at this grade level. The card features unique artwork by illustrator Craig Turvey, showcasing a distinct, hand-drawn aesthetic that differentiates it from the standard 3D or oil-painted styles found in main Neo-era sets. As part of the original run of promos that helped build the early competitive community, this Snorlax holds a clear place in the franchise's release history. With Snorlax remaining one of the most recognizable characters in the hobby, this WotC-era promo offers a direct link to the early days of organized play for collectors focused on foundational non-holo sets.Show more
