The 2016 Pokémon Japanese XY Promo Poncho-Wear Pikachu #207/XY-P is a blue-chip TCG asset originating from the exclusive Mega Charizard X Pikachu Special Box. Graded a PSA 10 Gem Mint, this card represents the highest grade possible from PSA. The card's visual appeal features Kouki Saitou's artwork of Pikachu wearing a Mega Charizard X poncho set against a vibrant, star-patterned holofoil background. Within the PSA population registry, 2,403 examples have achieved this pristine Gem Mint status, establishing it as a cornerstone piece for any serious collection targeting elite modern Japanese promos.
Released in January 2016 exclusively at Pokémon Center retail locations in Japan to celebrate Mega Evolution, this promotional card was never made available in standard retail booster packs. Its mechanical identity is defined by thematic attacks like "Pika Punch" and "Wild Blaze?", bridging Pikachu with Charizard—the franchise's two most recognizable mascots. As a limited-distribution Japanese exclusive from the XY era, this card holds a prominent position in the history of promotional crossover card designs.Show more
