Numbered 073/250, this 1998 SkyBox Hoops Bams Kobe Bryant #2 is a premier insert from the celebrated late-1990s era of basketball collectibles. Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA, this card represents a highly collectible example of a notoriously condition-sensitive release. The dark borders and metallic foil finish of the Bams insert set make it highly susceptible to edge chipping and surface wear, contributing to its scarcity in graded form. This card features a PSA population of just 5 at this grade.
Kobe Bryant, a 2020 Hall of Fame inductee, five-time NBA champion, and 18-time All-Star, is depicted here mid-dunk during his early years with the Los Angeles Lakers. The 1998-99 season was a pivotal campaign for Bryant, marking his transition to a full-time starter and his first career All-NBA selection. This short-printed insert stands as a classic representation of 1990s insert design and a key tribute to the legacy of one of the game's greatest players.Show more
