This 2023 Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promo Pikachu with Grey Felt Hat (#085) was produced for the official collaboration between The Pokémon Company and the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. Graded Gem Mint 9.5 by Beckett Grading Services, the card features subgrades of 9 for Centering, 10 for Corners, 9.5 for Edges, and 9.5 for Surface. Illustrated by Naoyo Kimura, the card depicts Pikachu in the artistic style of Vincent van Gogh. The Beckett population report lists 1,502 copies at this grade.
Released in late 2023 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Van Gogh Museum, the artwork directly references van Gogh's 1887 oil painting Self-Portrait with Grey Felt Hat. Available exclusively through selective museum events and Pokémon Center distribution channels, this promo card stands as one of the most prominent cross-over releases in the history of the Pokémon Trading Card Game.Show more
