This 2005 Japanese Pokémon PLAY Promotional 3rd Season Jolteon Gold Star #23 is graded BGS 10 Pristine, with subgrades of 9.5 for Centering, 10 for Corners, 10 for Edges, and 10 for Surface. Illustrated by Masakazu Fukuda, the card features the shiny color variant of Jolteon extending past the artwork window and includes the Gold Star deck-restriction rule text. Beckett Grading Services has recorded 8 copies in this Pristine grade. This card represents a blue-chip TCG asset.
Distributed exclusively through the Japanese Pokémon Players Club, this promo required members to accumulate 20,000 EXP points across official events during the 3rd season in 2005. Reaching this point threshold required extensive tournament participation over an extended timeframe, resulting in a limited total distribution compared to main-set releases. Gold Star cards introduced shiny Pokémon artwork into the trading card game and remain a defining subset of the franchise's mid-2000s era.Show more
