Graded PSA 10 Gem Mint, this 1998 Japanese Pokémon Vending Series 2 Shellder #90 stands with a population of 94 in PSA's registry at this grade. Illustrated by Nobuyuki Habu, the card features Shellder with 50 HP and its "Spurt" attack. Because Vending Series cards were distributed as peelable sheets dispensed through machines, surviving examples frequently display edge wear or surface impressions from the ejection mechanism, making top-tier condition difficult to acquire.
Released exclusively in Japan across three Expansion Sheets in 1998, the Vending Series represents a key era in early Pokémon TCG history. Printed on a distinctive glossy card stock, the set is recognized for showcasing expressive, non-traditional artwork and unnumbered promotional distributions outside standard booster pack releases.Show more
