This 2000 Pokémon Neo Genesis Unlimited Lugia #9 is graded BGS 8 NM-MT, featuring subgrades of 9.5 for Centering, 8.5 for Edges, 8 for Corners, and 7 for Surface. According to Beckett population reports, 224 copies hold this BGS 8 designation. Illustrated by Hironobu Yoshida, the card depicts the Johto Legendary mascot in its debut English holofoil set appearance.
Released in late 2000, Neo Genesis marked the arrival of Generation II Pokémon and mechanics in the English TCG. Designated as card #9 in the 111-card checklist, Holo Lugia serves as the principal chase card of the Neo Genesis expansion. Holofoil printings from this era are notable for high condition sensitivity across the surface layer, where factory print lines and light scratches commonly affect technical subgrades.Show more
