Basketball Cards
BGS9.5
Pop121
The 1996-97 Flair Showcase Hot Shots Michael Jordan #1 is a key insert from 1990s basketball card production. Graded BGS 9.5 Gem Mint, this example carries subgrades of 10 for Centering, 10 for Corners, 9.5 for Surface, and 9 for Edges. The Beckett population report shows 120 examples graded at the BGS 9.5 tier. Due to the intricate die-cut flame structure along the borders, high-grade preservation is difficult to maintain on this issue. This is a blue-chip basketball asset.
Inserted at a rate of 1 in every 90 packs of 1996-97 Flair Showcase Series 2, the Hot Shots set remains a standout staple of the 1990s die-cut era. As card #1 in the 20-card set, this issue features the Hall of Famer, six-time NBA Champion, and five-time MVP during the Chicago Bulls' second championship three-peat.Show more
