Pokemon Cards
CGC8.5
Pop48
Illustrated by Mitsuhiro Arita, this 2002 Pokémon Legendary Collection Dark Dragonite #5 is graded CGC 8.5 NM/Mint+. The card displays the set's distinct fireworks reverse-holographic foil pattern surrounding the artwork frame. CGC context records a population of 45 copies at this exact 8.5 designation.
Released by Wizards of the Coast in 2002, Legendary Collection introduced the Pokémon TCG's first reverse-holographic card subset. Originating as a reprint set highlighting classic Wizards-era releases, the checklist repurposed the iconic Team Rocket Dark Dragonite artwork into a key high-tier chase card. The expansive foil coating across the entire card face makes Legendary Collection reverse holos notoriously susceptible to surface scratches and edge wear, adding further context to preserved mid-to-high grade examples.Show more
