Released by Wizards of the Coast in 2000, this 1st Edition Dark Raichu #83 hails from the English Team Rocket expansion. Graded PSA 10 Gem Mint, this card sits at the highest grade tier assigned by PSA, with 246 copies recorded at this grade in the population report. Illustrated by Mitsuhiro Arita, the holographic surface showcases the Stage 1 Lightning-type Pokémon alongside its 70 HP and Surprise Thunder attack.
Dark Raichu holds distinction as the very first secret rare in Pokémon TCG history, designated by its 83/82 card number exceeding the main set boundary. Introduced during the early Wizards of the Coast era, Team Rocket was the first expansion to incorporate Dark Pokémon variants and non-standard set numbering, establishing a secret rare convention that continues across modern trading card set design.Show more
