The 2000 Topps Chrome Pokémon TV Animation Edition Series 1 Tekno-Chrome Charizard #6 is a premier vintage release from the early Pokémon era. Graded CGC Mint 9, this copy features sharp edges and the distinct geometric foil pattern characteristic of the Tekno-Chrome finish. CGC census records list a population of 3 copies at this grade. As a scarce, high-tier parallel of the franchise's main chase character, this is an investment-grade card.
Topps Chrome Series 1 debuted in 2000 to bring the visual aesthetic of the original Pokémon anime to premium chromium cardstock. The Tekno-Chrome technology utilized a complex textured grid finish that stood alongside Spectra-Chrome and standard Chrome, representing the top tier of parallel scarcity in the product. Featuring Charizard as card #6, this piece reflects a key moment in non-TCG Pokémon release history.Show more
