This 1998 Japanese Pocket Monsters Vending Series 1 Poliwrath #62 is graded PSA 10 Gem Mint. Out of all examples evaluated by PSA, only 196 have achieved this highest grade, representing a scarce survivor in flawless condition. Illustrated by Yuuki Kawamura, the card features a distinctive crayon-style drawing that departs from the era's standard expansion set aesthetics.
Originally released in March 1998, Japan's Vending Machine cards were distributed on glossy sheets from which they had to be manually peeled. This peeling process regularly subjected the delicate cardstock to edge chipping, surface scratches, and corner wear, which makes finding clean, well-centered Gem Mint examples a significant challenge for vintage TCG collectors.Show more
