The 2003 Japanese Pokémon PLAY Promo Mew ex #007 is graded PSA 9 Mint. Distributed exclusively through the Japanese Pokémon Players Club, this card required members to accumulate 7,000 Experience Points through sanctioned tournament participation and club activities to earn. The PSA population report records 293 examples in this grade. Illustrated by Ryo Ueda, the card features the distinct ex-era silver foil border and starburst holographic background pattern. This is an investment-grade TCG asset.
Established during Japan's ADV Era, the Pokémon Players Club replaced the earlier Tropical Mega Battle and World Championship point systems, locking high-tier promotional cards behind multi-year participation requirements. Achieving the 7,000 EXP threshold placed this Mew ex among the most demanding tier rewards of the 2003 PLAY season, resulting in a limited initial distribution compared to main-set expansion releases.Show more
