This 2018 Japanese Pokémon Sun & Moon Promo features Mimikyu (#289/SM-P) graded Gem Mint 10 by PSA. With a PSA 10 population of 1,456, this specimen represents a flawless example of one of the modern TCG era's most celebrated art collaborations. Illustrated by Hasuno, the card adapts Edvard Munch's classic expressionist masterpiece, *The Scream*, utilizing a swirl of vibrant reds, yellows, and deep blues that remain exceptionally vivid and well-centered. Given its historical significance and rarity, this pristine copy stands as an investment-grade cornerstone piece for any advanced TCG collection.
Released in conjunction with the "Munch: A Retrospective" exhibition at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum in late 2018, this promotional campaign bridged classical fine art with global pop culture. Among the five-card set designed for the collaboration—which also featured Pikachu, Eevee, Psyduck, and Rowlet—the Mimikyu has achieved legendary status among collectors due to its natural thematic synergy with the original painting's eerie aesthetic. Because these cards were distributed exclusively at the museum and never made available in standard booster packs, this Gem Mint 10 example remains a premier artifact from a landmark moment in franchise history.Show more
