The 2017 Pokémon Japanese Sun & Moon Promo Poncho-Wearing Pikachu #037/SM-P is presented in PSA 10 Gem Mint condition. Featuring artwork by Kouki Saitou, the card depicts Pikachu wearing a stylized Alolan Vulpix poncho set against a diagonal green-and-yellow striped holographic background accented with white polka dots. PSA has certified 1,352 examples of this promo card at the Gem Mint 10 tier, preserving a notable holographic design from the Sun & Moon era.
This promotional card was released exclusively in Japan on February 1, 2017, as part of the Alolan Vulpix & Vulpix Special Box, which celebrated the launch of the Sun & Moon generation and the introduction of regional forms. Poncho-wearing Pikachu cards represent a highly specialized lineage of Pokémon Center promos that were never made available in standard booster packs. This release remains a milestone of the Seventh Generation era, capturing the thematic transition between classic Kanto Pokémon and their Alolan counterparts.Show more
