This 1997 Metal Universe Precious Metal Gems Green Brett Favre #156 is hand-numbered 15/150, marking the final copy of the 15 Green parallels produced in the 150-card PMG print run. Graded BGS 8 NM-MT with subgrades of Centering 9, Corners 9, Edges 8, and Surface 8, it stands as a pop 1 example in the BGS registry. As a blue-chip football asset, this card combines an iconic design with minimal surviving high-grade examples.
SkyBox introduced the Precious Metal Gems concept in 1997, featuring full-bleed metallic foil backgrounds that established a new standard for premium parallels in football cards. Due to the delicate foil surface, PMG cards are notably condition-sensitive and prone to edge wear and chipping straight from original packaging. Favre was named NFL MVP three consecutive times from 1995 to 1997 and inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016.Show more
