This 1999 Pokémon Wizards of the Coast Black Star Promo Mewtwo #3 is graded PSA 10 Gem Mint. Illustrated by Ken Sugimori, this card features the iconic Genetic Pokémon surrounded by a psychic aura, complete with the gold-stamped "Kids WB Presents Pokémon The First Movie" logo in the art frame. Out of the thousands of copies graded by PSA, only 1,043 have achieved this top Gem Mint 10 designation, making it a highly preserved example of one of the most recognizable promotional releases from the franchise's early history.
Distributed to theatergoers during the November 1999 theatrical release of Pokémon: The First Movie, this card holds historical significance as one of the four original cinema promos that fueled the global Pokémon phenomenon. As a core entry in the original Wizards of the Coast Black Star Promo series, the card captures the peak of first-generation nostalgia and remains a foundational piece of early Pokémon TCG history.Show more
