The 1996 Japanese Base Set Holo Venusaur (#003) stands as one of the definitive cards from the debut release of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Illustrated by Mitsuhiro Arita, the artwork captures the Stage 2 Grass-type starter set against the classic Japanese cosmos holofoil pattern, framed by the original Pocket Monsters card back. Graded PSA 8 Near Mint-Mint, this copy has a population of 1,626 in the PSA registry. As one of the original final starter evolutions alongside Charizard and Blastoise, the 1996 Japanese Base Set printings mark the absolute starting line for the TCG and remain a focal point for vintage Pokémon collectors.Show more
