This 2021 Pokémon Japanese Sword & Shield Promo #227/S-P Pikachu is graded BGS 10 Pristine Black Label, securing subgrades of 10 for Centering, 10 for Corners, 10 for Edges, and 10 for Surface. According to the Beckett population report, 399 copies have achieved this quad-10 Black Label designation. Illustrated by Mitsuhiro Arita, this is an investment-grade Pokémon asset.
Originally distributed inside the Japan Post Pokémon Stamp Box in August 2021, the card's artwork directly references Hishikawa Moronobu's famous 17th-century ukiyo-e woodblock print, Beauty Looking Back. Distribution of the Stamp Box set was restricted to an official Japan Post lottery allocation, limiting total circulation at release and establishing the promo as a key crossover release between traditional Japanese art and the Trading Card Game.Show more
