Graded PSA 8 Near Mint-Mint, this 2002 Pokémon Legendary Collection Alakazam #1 features the set's distinct reverse holographic foil treatment. Illustrated by Ken Sugimori, the Stage 2 Psychic-type card reprints the iconic Base Set artwork with 80 HP, the Damage Swap Pokémon Power, and the Confuse Ray attack. PSA reports a population of 341 examples in this NM-MT 8 condition.
Released by Wizards of the Coast in 2002, Legendary Collection served as a curated reprint set combining popular cards from Base Set, Jungle, Fossil, and Team Rocket. The set is notable for introducing full-surface reverse holofoil cards—commonly referred to as fireworks foil—where the holographic pattern spans the entire front face of the card. Due to the expansive surface coverage of the foil layer, cards from this parallel subset are inherently condition-sensitive to scratching and edge wear.Show more
