Released during the very dawn of the franchise, this 1996 Bandai Carddass Part 2 Snorlax #143 features the sleeping giant in its classic early-era presentation, set against the striking green "Monsters Collection" background. This Carddass series stands as one of the earliest official Pokémon card releases, predating the traditional trading card game and capturing the franchise's raw Game Boy origins, complete with retro sprite graphics and game data on the reverse. Landing a pristine specimen of this vintage vending-machine release is exceptionally tough, as the original Japanese distribution method typically left cards susceptible to edge wear and surface scuffs. This example has achieved a Gem Mint 10 grade from CGC, with a highly restrictive population of just 5 in this top-tier condition, making it a stellar highlight for any early-era Pokémon collection.Show more
