Graded PSA 10 Gem Mint. With a population of 21 examples at this tier in the PSA population report, this 2000 Pokémon Neo Genesis Pichu #12 holofoil is among the rarest top-grade survivors from the Wizards of the Coast era. Illustrated by Ken Sugimori, the card depicts the initial Generation II debut of the Baby Pokémon mechanic on a classic cosmos holofoil background. This is an investment-grade TCG asset.
Released in December 2000, Neo Genesis launched the Generation II era for the English Pokémon Trading Card Game, establishing new gameplay rules and expansion subsets. Cards from the Neo Genesis set are notoriously condition-sensitive due to factory print line tendencies and edge-chipping vulnerabilities along the card borders, making gem mint grades exceptionally difficult to achieve. As card #12/111, Pichu remains one of the flagship holofoil cards of the entire 111-card set.Show more
