This is a 2013 Pokémon Black & White Plasma Storm Secret Rare Charizard (No. 136/135), graded Near Mint-Mint 8 by Beckett Grading Services (BGS). The card features artwork by illustrator Ayaka Yoshida, showcasing the shiny variant of the Flame Pokémon. The BGS subgrades reflect a balanced, well-preserved copy, showing Centering 9, Surface 9, Corners 8, and Edges 8. This BGS 8 example represents a population of 42 in the Beckett registry.
Released in February 2013, the Plasma Storm expansion is highly regarded for its introduction of Team Plasma-themed designs and mechanics to the Black & White series. This Secret Rare Charizard is the premier chase card of the set, distinguished by its gold-textured holofoil border and the alternate shiny color palette of the character. Due to the demanding pull rates of Secret Rares during the Black & White era, graded specimens remain highly sought after by set collectors.Show more
