Graded PSA 10 Gem Mint, this 2007 Pokémon Japanese Diamond & Pearl Shining Darkness (DP3) Palkia LV.X features artwork by Ryo Ueda. Out of all examples submitted to PSA, only 66 copies have earned the top Gem Mint designation. The card highlights Palkia breaking out of the frame across a glittering holofoil pattern framed by the signature silver foil border used for LV.X releases of the era.
Released in Japan in July 2007 as part of the Shining Darkness expansion, LV.X cards represented the premiere chase rarity tier of the Diamond & Pearl series. Built into the TCG rules as a mechanic requiring the card to be played directly on top of an active Palkia, this card features the Reconstruction Poké-Power and the Hydro Reflect attack while retaining all attacks, Poké-Powers, and Poké-Bodies from its underlying card. Japanese DP-era cards from this period feature the classic Japanese pocket monster card back, and the full-bleed metallic borders make flawless edge condition particularly difficult to achieve in top grades.Show more
