This 1999 Pokémon Base Set 1st Edition Blastoise #2 features the thick-stamp 1st Edition symbol from the initial English print run. Graded BGS 8.5 NM-MT+, the card carries subgrades of 9.5 for Centering, 9 for Surface, 8.5 for Corners, and 8 for Edges. The Beckett population report records 54 copies at this exact 8.5 grade. As one of the core stage-two evolution holo rares from the original 1999 Wizards of the Coast Base Set, Blastoise occupies a landmark position in TCG history. Illustrated by Ken Sugimori, this 1st Edition issue incorporates the shadowless border layout unique to the debut English release alongside the Rain Dance Pokémon Power.Show more
