1996 Pokemon Promo Japanese Non Glossy Ivy Pikachu #025
Pokemon Cards
CGC10
Pop4
Released in 1996, this Japanese Unnumbered Promo Pikachu (#025) features illustration by Keiji Kinebuchi. Graded CGC Gem Mint 10, this example represents the highest grade awarded by the service, with a population of just 4 copies recorded at this level. Given its scarcity and top-tier condition, this card serves as a cornerstone piece for a serious collection.
Originating from the inaugural year of the Japanese Pokémon Trading Card Game, unnumbered promos distributed in late 1996 represent the earliest promotional issues in the franchise's history. The non-glossy card stock distinguishes this initial printing from later glossy promotional inserts, making high-grade surviving examples particularly difficult to encounter.Show more
