This 2003 Pokémon EX Dragon Rayquaza ex #97 is graded a PSA 1 (PR), representing one of 132 examples at this grade level. Illustrated by Hikaru Koike, this Holo rare serves as the final card in the 97-card EX Dragon checklist, a set that famously introduced the first Dragon-type mechanics to the TCG during the early Nintendo era. As a franchise mascot and one of the most enduring legendary characters, Rayquaza's debut in the 'ex' tier carries significant weight within the Hoenn-era release history. The card features the signature silver borders and distinct Holofoil pattern of the mid-2000s ultra-rare subset. Low-grade vintage holos have become a popular entry point for collectors looking to secure foundational pieces of the EX Series, offering a tangible link to the game's third-generation expansion as interest in early Nintendo-era sets continues to grow.Show more
