The 2023 Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promo Pikachu with Grey Felt Hat #085 was released as part of an official collaboration between The Pokémon Company and the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. Graded PSA 10 Gem Mint, this card holds the highest standard numerical grade awarded by Professional Sports Authenticator. Illustrated by Naoyo Kimura, the artwork directly references Vincent van Gogh's 1887 work Self-Portrait with Grey Felt Hat, rendering Pikachu in the artist's signature post-impressionist brushstroke style. In gameplay, the card features 60 HP and the Pika-Portrait attack, which allows a player to search their deck for a Pikachu and place it onto their Bench.
Issued in late 2023 to coincide with an educational art exhibit at the Van Gogh Museum, the release saw distribution directly through the museum and select Pokémon Center online channels. The card serves as card #085 within the English Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promo card list. According to PSA population reports, 53,168 copies have achieved the Gem Mint 10 grade.Show more
