This 2000 Japanese Pokémon Neo Genesis Holo Lugia #249 is graded GEM MT 10 by PSA. In the PSA population report, 971 copies have received this top grade. Illustrated by Hironobu Yoshida, the card depicts the Legendary Pokémon against a distinctive cosmos holofoil background.
Released in Japan in late 1999 as part of the Gold, Silver, to a New World... expansion, Neo Genesis introduced Generation II Pokémon to the Trading Card Game. As the version mascot for Pokémon Silver, Lugia headlined the set with its signature 90-damage Elemental Blast attack requiring Fire, Water, and Lightning Energy. This debut holofoil printing anchors the Johto era in the original Japanese Pocket Monsters card layout.Show more
