This 2016 Pokémon XY Evolutions Charmander #9 Toys "R" Us Promo is graded PSA 10 Gem Mint. The PSA population report shows 105 examples achieving this top grade. Featuring classic artwork illustrated by Mitsuhiro Arita, this special release pairs the nostalgic original Base Set pose with a Cosmos holofoil background and a distinct Toys "R" Us logo stamp in the lower right of the art frame.
Released as part of in-store trade events celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise in 2016, this promotional card was distributed in limited quantities at participating retail stores. While standard booster packs contained only non-holo versions of Charmander #9/108, this variant was specifically printed with the Cosmos holo pattern and exclusive retail branding, establishing it as a distinct promotional subset within the XY Evolutions era.Show more
