The 1998 Pokémon Japanese Vending Series 3 Ooyama's Pikachu #025 is graded PSA 10 Gem Mint. The PSA population report records 2,109 copies in this grade. Illustrated by Game Freak designer Kouichi Ooyama, the card features his distinctive hand-drawn aesthetic, personalized attack descriptions, and an illustration of the artist himself in the lower right corner.
Distributed exclusively through arcade-style vending machines in Japan in 1998, Expansion Sheet 3 was the final release in the original Vending Machine series. Ooyama's Pikachu is notable for its non-standard gameplay structure, including a printed disclaimer along the bottom margin explicitly stating the card cannot be used in official tournament play. The reverse side bears the original Japanese Pocket Monsters Card Game logo and creature ring.Show more
