The 1997 Skybox E-X2001 Essential Credentials Future Shaquille O'Neal #7 is graded PSA 8 Near Mint-Mint. Serial-numbered 34/74, this specific example carries a direct jersey-number match to O'Neal's #34 with the Los Angeles Lakers. There are 6 copies recorded at this grade in the PSA population report. Constructed with a clear acetate substrate and intense pink neon backings, the 1997 E-X2001 parallels are condition-sensitive and subject to edge chipping. Given its scarcity and significance in 1990s basketball card history, this is a cornerstone piece for a serious collection.
Skybox debuted the Essential Credentials parallel system in 1997, dividing the checklist into 'Now' and 'Future' variations where serial numbering was tied to card order numbers across the set. A 2016 inductee into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, O'Neal won four NBA championships, earned the 2000 NBA MVP award, was named a 15-time All-Star, and was selected to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team.Show more
