This 2017 Topps Dynasty Autograph Patch Blue Derek Jeter (#AP-DJ3) features a game-used patch worn by Jeter in the September 11, 2005 game against the Boston Red Sox. Serial numbered 1/1, it is the only copy produced in this parallel configuration. Encased in its original Topps Dynasty factory holder, the card remains protected behind the manufacturer’s unbroken black tamper-evident seal. The card features a blue ink autograph alongside an MLB Authenticated fabric relic displaying a full embroidered Major League Baseball logo with red boundary stitching and hologram MT00654217. As a unique 1/1 issue from Topps’ flagship ultra-premium release, this is an investment-grade card.
The reverse side highlights Jeter’s historic 2014 bat retirement, noting that Louisville Slugger retired his standard P72 bat model across all levels of professional baseball and officially renamed the pattern the DJ2 in honor of his final season. Jeter concluded his 20-year career with the New York Yankees as a five-time World Series champion, 14-time All-Star, World Series MVP, and 3,465-hit club member, entering the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2020 with 99.7% of the vote.Show more
