Graded Gem Mint 10 by PSA, this 2002 Pokémon Legendary Collection Ponyta #87 features original artwork by Ken Sugimori set against the set's distinct reverse holofoil finish. PSA records show a population of 40 copies in this top grade, placing it among a very limited group of flawless examples. Released by Wizards of the Coast in 2002, Legendary Collection introduced reverse holofoil cards to the English Pokémon TCG, defined by an intricate, rainbow-hued "fireworks" pattern across the entire card border and text box. Because this specific foil treatment was never re-used in subsequent Pokémon TCG releases, high-grade reverse holos from this set hold a unique position within vintage Wizards of the Coast collecting.Show more
