This 1996 Pokémon Japanese Promo Ivy Pikachu #025 is graded PSA 9 Mint. Illustrated by Keiji Kinebuchi using early 3D-rendered graphics, this card features the non-glossy cardstock variation of the early promotional release. PSA records a population of 176 examples at this grade level.
Released during the inaugural year of the Pokémon Trading Card Game in Japan, the Ivy Pikachu promo holds a foundational place in the franchise's card history. The non-glossy variation is distinguished by its standard cardstock texture and the original Japanese Pocket Monsters back design.
