This 2009 Pokémon Japanese L-P Promo Victory Medal (#033/L-P) was awarded exclusively to first-place finishers at official Gym Challenge tournament events in Japan. Graded PSA 10 Gem Mint, this example received the highest grade issued by PSA. The current PSA population report records 1,045 copies at this grade. Illustrated by Hideaki Hakozaki, the artwork depicts Pikachu holding a gold trophy medal stamped with "WINNER." Distributed during the launch of the Pokémon TCG's LEGEND Era, Victory Medal promos were obtainable solely through tournament placement rather than retail booster packs. The 1st Place Gym Challenge designation marks this card as the top prize tier from the 2009 competitive circuit, setting it apart from standard participant and secondary prize printings of the era.Show more
