This 2023 Panini Prizm Purple Ice Victor Wembanyama rookie card represents an investment-grade modern basketball asset. Individually serial-numbered 106/149 on the reverse, the card features the distinct geometric fracturing of the Purple Ice parallel design. It has been awarded a Gem Mint 10 grade by PSA, with the current population report showing 81 examples achieving this top tier. As a short-printed rookie parallel from the flagship Prizm set, this card carries both condition rarity and a capped production run of just 149 total copies.
Wembanyama's debut NBA campaign justified his status as a historic prospect, concluding with a unanimous 2023-24 Rookie of the Year selection after averaging 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, and a league-leading 3.6 blocks per game. He followed his standout rookie season by leading France to a silver medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, pacing his team with averages of 15.8 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game. His immediate dominance on both ends of the floor establishes this highly graded, low-numbered rookie parallel as a premier target for basketball collectors.Show more
