This 1998 Pokémon Japanese Vending Series 1 Squirtle (#007) is graded PSA 10 Gem Mint. Illustrated by Kagemaru Himeno, the card features the glossy stock, Pokéball sheet indicator, and black rarity symbol characteristic of the debut Vending Expansion Sheet issue. According to PSA population data, 141 copies hold this top-tier grade.
Distributed exclusively in Japan through arcade-style vending machines in 1998, cards in the Vending Series were printed on sheet rolls that required collectors to manually peel each card from its backing. Due to the physical mechanics of the dispensing mechanism and peeling process, high-grade condition survivals from this set are notably condition-sensitive.Show more
