The 2017 Pokémon Sun & Moon: Shining Legends Secret Rare Mewtwo GX #78 is graded PSA 9 Mint. Illustrated by veteran artist Mitsuhiro Arita, the card carries a Secret Rare designation, extending beyond the set's base 73-card checklist as #78/73. According to the PSA population report, 6,977 copies have achieved this Mint 9 grade.
Released as part of the special 2017 Shining Legends expansion, the illustration depicts Mewtwo suspended inside a laboratory incubation chamber, directly referencing the character's origin lore. As the main chase card of the Shining Legends set, it stands out among Sun & Moon era releases due to its narrative full-art composition created by Arita, the original illustrator of the 1999 Base Set Charizard.Show more
