The 2019 Panini Contenders Kobe Bryant Autograph #1 stands as an investment-grade basketball asset for elite portfolios. This unnumbered card features a bold blue ink signature from the legendary Los Angeles Lakers icon, graded Auto 9 by PSA/DNA, with the card itself certified as PSA Authentic. The grading population report registers this specimen at a population of 3, making it an exceptionally scarce piece for collectors. The card's eye appeal is highlighted by its dual-imagery design, balancing a sharp black-and-white profile portrait with a vibrant color image of Bryant on his historic draft night.
Commemorating June 26, 1996, the card celebrates the day the Charlotte Hornets drafted the Lower Merion High School standout before trading him to the Lakers in a franchise-altering move orchestrated by Jerry West. Bryant went on to secure five NBA championships, 18 All-Star selections, and a posthumous induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2020. The card back features Panini America's official guarantee of the autograph's authenticity, establishing this release as a premier tribute to one of the most celebrated legacies in sports history.Show more
