2000 Pokemon Gym Challenge 1st Edition Holo Giovanni's Persian #8
Pokemon Cards
PSA10
Pop78
Released in 2000 as part of Wizards of the Coast's Gym Challenge expansion, this 1st Edition Holo Giovanni's Persian (#8) is graded PSA 10 Gem Mint. With a population of only 78 copies recorded in PSA's census at this top grade, it represents an investment-grade vintage Pokémon asset. Illustrated by Ken Sugimori, the Stage 1 card features the Team Rocket leader's signature Pokémon complete with the prominent 1st Edition symbol and its "Call the Boss" Pokémon Power.
Gym Challenge served as the final expansion of the original Gym series, introducing Gym Leader-owned Pokémon and trainer synergies to the game's official rule set. First-print 1st Edition holographic cards from the Wizards of the Coast era carried strictly capped production volumes, making high-grade survivors from the year 2000 increasingly difficult to find in Gem Mint condition.Show more
