The 2002 Pokémon Japanese Mysterious Mountains Unlimited Charizard #89 features artwork by Kouki Saitou and highlights the Secret Rare Crystal Type designation from the final e-Card expansion. Graded BGS 10 Pristine, this card received individual subgrades of 9.5 for Centering, 10 for Corners, 10 for Edges, and 10 for Surface. Beckett population records confirm this as a Pop 1 specimen in BGS 10 Pristine condition with none graded higher. Given its top-tier grade and historical status, this is an investment-grade TCG asset.
Mysterious Mountains was the fifth and final expansion of the Japanese e-Card series, forming the foundation for the Western Skyridge release. Cards featuring the Crystal Type mechanic possessed the Poké-Body ability to shift elemental type based on attached basic energy cards. Unlimited print runs for late Japanese e-Card sets saw significantly lower production volume than earlier expansions, creating high scarcity for surviving copies in flawless condition.Show more
