2006 Pokemon Ex Crystal Guardians Reverse Holo Venusaur #28

Pop22
This 2006 Venusaur comes from the EX Crystal Guardians expansion, a set that captures a unique era of Pokémon TCG history centered on a mysterious, crystal-laden island. As the Reverse Holo parallel, the card features the distinctive set logo stamped onto the artwork by Hajime Kusajima, a visual hallmark of the EX series. This specific card, #28/100, is presented in a CGC Gem Mint 10, with a population of only 22 copies currently holding this grade. Finding high-grade examples from the mid-2000s can be a challenge due to the sensitive holofoil surfaces of the period, making this low-population 10 a great find for anyone looking to round out their Kanto starter collection. With interest in the EX-era sets continuing to grow among hobbyists revisiting the middle years of the franchise, this Venusaur stands as a well-preserved piece of history from a time when set-specific themes and unique parallel styles were first being refined.Show more
