As a marquee holographic card from the 1999 English Base Set, Mewtwo stands as an iconic piece of the franchise's western launch. This shadowless first-print run represents the absolute genesis of the English TCG, with the "Thick Stamp" detailing highlighting a specific, early phase of Wizards of the Coast's production timeline.
