The 2004 Pokémon EX Team Rocket Returns Gold Star Mudkip #107 is graded BGS 9 Mint, supported by subgrades of 9 for Centering, 9 for Corners, 9 for Edges, and 9.5 for Surface. Beckett records 31 copies at this grade, highlighting the condition sensitivity and low yield of high-grade cards from the mid-2000s EX Series. This is an investment-grade Pokémon card.
Illustrated by Masakazu Fukuda, Gold Star cards debuted in EX Team Rocket Returns as ultra-rare inserts with estimated pull rates of approximately one per two booster boxes. Mudkip #107 represents one of the original Hoenn starter Gold Stars, characterized by shiny coloration, unique foil treatments, and artwork extending beyond the primary image border. The card also features the printed gameplay rule restricting players to a single Gold Star Pokémon in a deck.Show more
