PSA8.5
Pop726
The 1986 Fleer Basketball issue stands as the definitive vintage milestone of modern basketball collecting, marking the return of major licensed basketball card production after a five-year hiatus. Graded PSA 8.5 (NM-MT+), card #57 features Michael Jordan's official rookie card, displaying strong visual register and vibrant red, white, and blue borders characteristic of preserved examples from this notoriously condition-sensitive set. The PSA population report shows 720 copies evaluated at the 8.5 grade level. Given its central position in the hobby, this card represents a blue-chip basketball asset and cornerstone piece for high-end collections.
Drafted third overall in 1984 from the University of North Carolina, Jordan captured six NBA Championships, six Finals MVP awards, five regular-season MVPs, and 10 scoring titles across his career with the Chicago Bulls. Inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009, Jordan remains the benchmark for global basketball excellence, anchoring the historical significance of his 1986 Fleer rookie card.Show more
