Pokemon Cards

Pop2,355
This 2016 Pokémon Japanese XY Promo features Pikachu dressed in a green Rayquaza poncho, designated as card #230/XY-P. Graded Gem Mint 10 by PSA, this card exhibits immaculate centering, sharp corners, and pristine surface preservation. The PSA population for this promo stands at 2,298 in Gem Mint 10 condition. Given the limited nature of its original distribution and the enduring demand for crossover Pikachu promos, this high-grade example stands as a blue-chip TCG asset and a cornerstone piece for any advanced Pokémon collection.
Illustrated by Kouki Saitou, this card was exclusively available within the Rayquaza Poncho-wearing Pikachu Special Box released in Japan in July 2016. This product was produced to celebrate the grand opening of the Pokémon Center Skytree Town retail location in Tokyo, which features Rayquaza as its mascot. The card boasts a unique holofoil finish complete with stylized celestial rings and star patterns. Because it was restricted to Japanese Pokémon Centers and never reprinted, this promo remains one of the defining chase cards of the XY era's specialty releases.Show more
