Graded CGC Gem Mint 10, this 2001 Pokémon Neo Discovery 1st Edition Holo Kabutops #6 represents top-tier condition for vintage Wizards of the Coast product. The CGC population report reflects just 29 copies in this grade, meaning very few collectors have access to a Gem Mint 10 example. Illustrated by Kimiya Masago, the card features bold artwork, dynamic holographic surface detailing, and the official 1st Edition symbol positioned below the lower-left corner of the illustration frame.
Released in June 2001, Neo Discovery served as the second set in the broader Neo Series, integrating Generation II Pokémon alongside classic fossil-derived characters like Kabutops. As part of the 75-card set, #6/75 stands out as one of the major holographic chase cards in the set. Because 1st Edition print runs during the WOTC era had restricted distribution windows prior to Unlimited printings, high-grade surviving examples from this release carry documented scarcity within vintage TCG collecting.Show more
