1986 Star '85 Rookie of the Year Michael Jordan #6
Basketball Cards
BGS9.5
Pop59
This 1986 Star Company #6 card features Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan from the 10-card 1985 Rookie-of-the-Year subset. Graded BGS 9.5 Gem Mint, the card earned quad 9.5 subgrades for Centering, Corners, Edges, and Surface. According to the Beckett population report, 59 copies share this BGS 9.5 grade. This is an investment-grade basketball card.
Produced to mark Jordan's 1984-85 inaugural campaign—during which he played all 82 games and averaged 28.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game to earn NBA Rookie of the Year honors—the release sits among the foundational early-career Star Company issues. Star cards were originally distributed in sealed polybags, leaving the full-bleed red borders prone to handling marks, which impacts high-grade centering and edge preservation across the set.Show more
