The 2002 Pokémon Expedition Holo Dragonite #9 features artwork by long-time series artist Kagemaru Himeno. Graded GEM MT 10 by PSA, this copy achieved the highest numerical mark awarded by the service. PSA population reports confirm 36 examples have received a Gem Mint 10 grade, making it a low-population survivor in top-tier preserved condition. Given its population scarcity and condition status, this is an investment-grade Pokémon asset.
Debuting in 2002, Expedition Base Set launched the e-Card Series, introducing dot-code striping along the left and bottom borders designed for compatibility with Nintendo's e-Reader peripheral. The expansion's holofoil subset remains notoriously difficult to grade due to edge-wear sensitivity on the yellow e-Series borders and foil scratching inherent to early Wizards of the Coast manufacturing processes.Show more
